Last week, I had the privilege of attending a Catholic Women's Conference that left me feeling empowered, inspired, and deeply connected to my faith. The conference, held at St Mary of the Expectation Catholic Church in League City, TX, was a day filled with enlightening talks, engaging workshops, and a strong sense of community among attendees.
The conference, now in its first year, was aptly named BeStillandKnow, drawing from the biblical verse "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10). The theme of the event encouraged attendees to take a moment to pause, reflect, and deepen their relationship with God amidst the busyness of everyday life. One of the highlights of the conference was the variety of impactful talks given by knowledgeable speakers. Topics ranged from spiritual growth and overcoming challenges to embracing one's unique gifts and talents.
